Hey guys, we just recorded this in my apartment. It's a song off our recent album. We're called MARULA. Check out our site at marula.ca Enjoy!

sex

Btw, the vocals start in the middle of the song and I hate mp3 sound, so if any of you know how to make the best of it, tips would be appreciated, thanx. Usually I export in wav format.

A Space In Time

Another one-day, software-distortion effort with crappy fruityloops drums, I was going to wait until I get my studio shiat together before I uploaded anything else here but I had fun making this so I thought I'd upload it for the next battle.

It's essentially just over three minutes of me improvising rock soloing over a backing track that I made. The intro (aside from the basis of the finger-tapping) is the only part of the lead that was planned before I started recording. There is four guitars in total, plus the bass (that was also played on my electric guitar). I did the lead in one take again so there will be the odd mistake.

I hope you like it, its mostly just experimentation with a few different melodies/harmonies. Nothing too flash on the guitar, aside from some faster soloing bits, some finger tapping later on, and my favourite bit is at 3m 03 where I did some kind of artifical harmonic and whammied it :)

Oh, and I know the drums are shite. And the guitar slipped out of tune a little for the harmonics during the finger-tapping bit so they sound a little ugly - but I cant be bothered to rerecord because I will be redoing it when I get my equipment sorted anyways. I also need a new guitar!

Please give me any feedback you can!

Peace :)

Terestrial Planeteer

Terrestrial Planeteer (Celestial Sphere) is the name of the song. It was too long to put in the Title bar. here's the lyrics. ps. I was in an astronomy class when we wrote it.

sometimes I think of the universe and everything in
staring from Olympus Mons on the great big red planet
and my significance comes in contrast with my size
I can't think/ of the end/ when we're just
starting to think
and understand/ comprehend/
what's with life
and the common man
Circumscribe lunar year
Another chance to disappear

It is growing cold
I feel like I'm growin old
na na na
na na na

I tried to feel jovian but I'm stuck 3 rocks from the sun
hydrogen, helium, it's a lot to overcome
on the moon - maria, lay the darkened area
I'd trade this ball for basalt just to be a part of it all
take a ride to the north, to the star of the virgin birth
it will guide, you by sea, take a sip, primordial tea

it is growing cold
I feel like I'm growing old
to young to be so bold
to old to be sold

nananna

terrestrial planeteer
take a ride - celestial sphere
on the moon - maria, lay the darkened area
and venus, the devil sun, it's vapors could kill anyone

'Til the sun punches

full title: 'Til the sun punches back

This was done several months ago through a poor mic -- I've got a new one now and will get around to rerecording this when I get done with any new stuff I'm working on. as it is, I had to do some pretty heavy filtering to get it to sound as good as it does, which resulted in a little "tinniness", especially on the vocals. Otherwise, just a little song about you know what. Enjoy

Feeling the Blues

Here's my second song, hope you'll like it. Sorry again about the quality. Please, just write your true comments. And of course, try to enjoy.

I've made a new version, this one is fucked up, my voice is actually higher. I don't know why this song is lowered and slowered down in bandamp. So don't listen to this version, just go to the new version of Feeling the Blues.

Thought it was about time I entered something a little heavier than my previous tracks. This time the Marshall was put aside and the old dod processor was called upon. Sorry about no solo, but the song has enough fills to make up for it I hope.
